Ugh using sposies

I hate to admit it but using disposables at night has made Julian sleep through.  Sigh it makes me feel sad but if that's what it takes to get a good night's sleep....

The bad thing is he keeps pooping in his nappy in the morning too!  I can't seem to get to him in time to get it into the loo!

Joke of the day - Happy/Sad

A woman was watching a movie with a happy ending, and the husband walks in and sees his wife crying over the happy ending of the movie.  "That is such crap," he says, shaking his head.  "How can you be happy and sad at the same time?  Only women could be so stupid.  Men aren't like that.  There isn't anything you could say to me that would make me happy and sad at the same time."

His wife looks at him and says, "Out of all your friends, you have the biggest dick."

4 days of bad sleep - is it going to end?

I don't know what the hell is wrong with Julian, he has been waking up at night constantly!  I thought maybe he was coming down with something, or maybe he's got an upset tummy... I mean on Monday he pooed in his nappy so many times I missed 3!  On Tuesday hubby said he missed a lot of poos as well.

This morning he was up at 4am and I took him to poo and he did a little one, then hubby tried to put him back to bed and then ended up giving him his milk so then Julian went to bed.  But I had to get him up about half an hour later so I could go to work, and I put him on the toilet again and he did a huge poo.

Interestingly, one of my registrars at work, Amy, who has a son a little younger than Julian told me she has a couple of cloth nappies!  Now how cool is that!  I should get her one to try, she's using peapods and she quite likes them.

Random Boob thoughts - Breastfeeding, Victoria's Secret and Plastic Surgery

It's been about 2 weeks now where I haven't expressed any more milk, and my milk is finally gone - no more breastfeeding!  I remember the day I stopped, I had tried to give Julian some breastmilk before bed and he just didn't want any!  So that was the end of that.  He had been slowly taking less and less anyway, I think he finds it way easier to get it out of the bottle anyway (and not to mention I think the formula tastes nicer).  You do feel a bit of the "oh my god my baby doesn't want me anymore" but really this is so much better, my boobs are mine again!  Or at least what's left of them.

Now I'm thinking I really need to get the services of a plastic surgeon... people are not joking when they say it's like balloons with the air let out!  Though I'm not quite that bad and I'm certainly no Victoria Secret Angel (god wouldn't I love to have cleavage and curves like Alessandra Ambrosio (she has such a nice look! Kinda Megan Fox like I think), or the gorgeous blonde blue eyed look of Doutzen Kroes.  Seriously who wouldn't want to look like this??

Isn't she just gorgeous?  And I wonder if I was the only person who noticed her in Casino Royale as Bond was walking into that fancy club.  I tell you these South American girls have something sultry and sexy about them.  Gosh people will think I'm weird writing about these sorts of things!

Doutzen Kroes was in the Sydney Morning Herald recently and she (and they) were saying how she is a curvy model instead of the usual waif thin model.  But if you look at her, I mean come on, she's not curvy.. she's a slender model!  She has a very glamorous look to her, almost movie star like if you ask me.

Funny moment with Erika while I was in ICC

Erika was grouchy last night, refusing to go to bed and I wanted to raid!  Hubby wasn't home, he was out doing a talk with a nice dinner, so I was trying to get two kids into bed.  Julian was a darling and went to sleep almost by himself, with minimal fuss (some calling out but no wailing or crying) but Erika was very difficult.  She did sleep in the afternoon and she was hungry when she came home (asking for Um!) so she had some of my dinner.

So in the end I let her come downstairs while I went to play World of Warcraft and we were doing hardmodes ICC (well at least trying Marrowgar and Gunship) and then we had a few wipes on Heroic Marrowgar.  She was sitting on my lap and grabbing everything but after a bit of "Mama is playing games Erika, if you want to sit with Mama you have to sit here quietly and watch" she sat down and was looking at me playing, and wasn't trying to bash the keyboard or grab the mouse.

She was looking at the screen and she said "Mama what's that?"  And then she said "oh Butterfly" which I thought was absolutely hilarious!  I even posted it on guild chat.   Guildies said "Don't know what kind of butterflies you're showing your daughter..."

Here is a picture of Marrowgar... do you think it looks like a butterfly?

First Gastroenteritis for Erika and Julian is crawling!

Erika has been having fevers for 3 days, and didn't seem otherwise unwell except for being grumpy and crying at night, and she did have more frequent poos but not really runny ones, just soft.  Today she has no fevers but she does have diarrhoea so I'm glad there is finally a diagnosis!

Unfortunately though she woke up at 4:40 this morning crying and she'd wet the bed and had a little diarrhoea in her undies.  I put her straight on the toilet and she did a BIG diarrhoea.  Changed all her sheets, but being busy with that made me miss Julian waking up and he pooped into his nappy.  2 poopy babies!

But the milestone is that Julian is now starting to commando crawl on the floor!  And hubby managed to catch Julian's poos yesterday so I'm very proud of him!  Over the weekend Julian didn't do many poos into his nappies except in the morning when I missed him waking up.

He's been pretty good with sleeping, sleeping by himself at 7.30pm and waking up  at 5ish.  But last night he woke up at 2 and needed to be patted back to sleep, and then he was up with Erika at 4.40.  I hope once Erika gets better and is back to sleeping through the night (and having an appetite again) that we might get some restful sleeps.
